Military thriller author David Joseph invites you into the world of 'Spook 50,' tail number 58-0050, a haunted Air Force KC-135. An aircraft so evil no crew members want to fly on it, and no crew chiefs want to work on it. The stories surrounding this aircraft are legend--the problem is they're all true.
SPOOK 50 IS OUT TO GET BOOM OPERATOR BILL FOX.
Welcome to the Niagara Falls Airshow and the debut of the Air Force Thundereagles. There is only one KC-135 to fly in the airshow--Spook 50. But Boom Operator Bill Fox is set to retire from the Air Force and will watch the airshow from the hood of his red '68' Mustang
Novelist David Joseph is the author of Korea x 2 and the short story collection The Bully & Other Stories. Spook 50 is introduced in "Robins in Alaska," Happy Stories, by boom operators telling flying stories over a few beers.
